Learn Who We Are

  • Dr.
    Nguyen Tran

    Dr. Nguyen Tran escaped from Vietnam by boat when he was 12 years old. After 4 years as a Vietnamese refugee in a camp in Hong Kong, he came to the US at age 16. After attending high school in Northern Virginia and enrolling at George Mason University, he received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He went on to attend the renowned chiropractic school, National University of Health Sciences in Illinois. In 2004, Dr. Tran graduated with the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic. During medical school he acquired his certification in acupuncture. He is proficient in spinal rehabilitation and advanced chiropractic techniques.

    For the past 15 years, Dr. Tran has given thousands of chiropractic adjustments and has helped patients achieve optimal health through natural means. With the knowledge of chiropractic, acupuncture, physical rehabilitation and martial arts, Dr. Tran has developed a very effective method of treatment that not only reduces pain symptoms but also gets to the root of many joint and muscle conditions.

    Soojoon Moon

    Dr. Soojoon Moon has been at OC-RC since May 2016. Dr. Moon is a licensed chiropractor in the state of Virginia. He was born in Seoul, Korea and came to the United States in 1999 at age of 12. He attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. After his decision to become a chiropractor, he attended National University of Health Science in Illinois. While he was at National, he attended over 400 hours of acupuncture and rehabilitation seminars. He graduated with the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic in 2015. He provides strong focus on integrating chiropractic, acupuncture, rehabilitation, core exercises, and end range loading exercises.

  • Lili Bekele
    Chiropractic Assistant/ Front Desk Coordinator

    Lili has been at OC-RC since May 2017. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Stevenson University. As a Chiropractic Assistant, Lili displays empathy and communication-oriented behavior towards patients and family members.

    Lili has experience working at the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors as a Client Advocate. Lili is currently studying to receive another Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She is passionate about helping others and is interested in promoting a high standard of care for patients in her care.

  • Jenny Ly
    Alma Technician

    Jennie has been working at OC-RC since April 2012. She received her B.S. degree in Healthcare Administration with a Minor in Business from Penn State University. She is very compassionate about her work. She takes her time to listen and understand patient needs and strives to motivate patients to actively take care of their health.

    Jennie has counseled and managed many different cases of patient care: HIV, Depression, OB-GYN, Family Planning, Domestic Violence, Drug and Alcohol. She has experience in directing patients to the correct resources.

    She is actively involved in her community through volunteering in her children’s schools and is part of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Jennie loves spending time with her family and friends. She utilizes her free time to travel, swim and help people.
